The Drake has been part of Canmore since 1988. That's over three decades of cold pints poured, pizzas shared, birthdays celebrated, live bands on the main stage, and a front-row seat to one of the most beautiful mountain towns in Canada. We source from farms that answer the phone after 5 a.m., pay our cooks to taste obsessively, and keep the music just loud enough to make small talk optional. Because dinner should feel less like a checklist and more like an inside joke you’re glad you’re in on.
A lot has changed in Canmore since then. The Drake has changed too, new name, new look, a brewery of our own. But the ownership is the same. The downtown location is the same. And the reason we open our doors every day is the same: this town deserves a great local pub, and we intend to keep being it.
